Flex Speaker

The Flex Speaker is a purpose-built wireless receiver and amplified speaker designed to deliver a clear, consistent electronic start or recall tone across the start line or stadium for track and field and cross-country events.

When triggered by a Flex Starter transmitter, the Flex Speaker instantly outputs a loud (100+Db), clean tone. Multiple speakers can be deployed along the start line so every athlete hears the signal at the same moment — eliminating uneven sound, echo, or confusion.

Designed for real meet-day conditions, the Flex Speaker is compact, durable, and easy to deploy, making it a reliable solution for competition, training, and wide start-line environments.

How It Works

1. Place one or more Flex Speakers along the start line

   • Championship meets: one speaker per lane, approximately 3 feet behind each athlete

   • Smaller meets: typically three speakers

   • Practices: often a single speaker

2. Power on the speaker(s)

3. Trigger start or recall using a Flex Starter transmitter

4. All speakers output the tone simultaneously
